The Applause brand was launched by Ovation back in the 1970s. The aim was and is to make the advantages of roundback guitars available in a particularly affordable class without having to do without the special features of their famous big sisters. The current models of the Applause by Ovation line feature traditional Ovation characteristics in a basic design, such as the classic Lyrachord roundback body, a slim neck for comfortable playability, great feel, appealing finishes and a professional pickup/preamp system. The know-how of a world brand at an amazingly good price.
